Guido Pecci is back to exhibit at Romberg Arte Contemporanea.

After his personal exhibition in 2010 in the spaces of piazza de Ricci in Rome which was dedicated to Winnie the Pooh, the artist is presenting a new cycle of work inspired by the most popular family in the world: “The Simpsons”.

An exhibition which came about in order to relate to the environment of the ROOMBERG Project Space and its large Showcase where Pecci shows his great ability starting from a well known icon from the world of cartoons to rediscover that lost sense of “entertainment” of the soul.

NOTHING IS FOREVER is the title of this exhibition:

An installation in gold leaf and glazed ceramics, a large diptych, 3 medium sized paintings, 7 display cases and 6 small paintings take you on a visual journey inside a symbol of contemporary society. The Simpsons, an emblem of mass culture dominated by the convulsive flow of images, has ideally posed for the artist.

Pecci explores this tragicomedy of disillusioned, avid, phlegmatic and hyperactive characters, decadent and social climbers he reveals their sentimental component. Love moves each brush stroke, each gesture and each element shaped for this exhibition.

Love belongs to those who know that NOTHING IS FOREVER.

L'amore appartiene a chi sa che NOTHING IS FOREVER.
