The solo exhibition "Even those who tell fairy tales are murderers" by Claudio Marini will be inaugurated on Sunday 16th June, and with this event Romberg Arte Contemporanea opens its’ last appointment of the 2023/24 exhibition season as part of the exhibition "(Only Lovers left alive)", curated by Italo Bergantini and Gianluca Marziani.
"Even those who tell fairy tales are murderers", is the title of the exhibition which takes its’ inspiration from a phrase by the sculptor and writer Fausto Melotti (whose art and writings emerge from a period of great historical and cultural turmoil, having lived between two world wars) which highlights how in every narrative there can be space to create alternative scenarios that are sometimes so distant as to be plausible but incompatible.
On display is a yet unseen cycle of works by Claudio Marini who with energy and irony between brushstrokes, which are at times iridescent, invites us to a shared, intense and multifaceted reflection on the impact of art and the countless narratives which nowadays attempt to invade every free moment of our life.
