Sunday, December 3, 2023, Romberg Arte Contemporanea, presents its second appointment as part of the “Solo gli amanti sopravvivono (Only Lovers left alive)” review.
Being interested means moving your gaze from an abstraction to something recognizable.
Being interested involves engaging our senses towards a plausible commitment.
Being interested brings our attention to the margin of shapes that take on useful features.
Interest resides in each of us as a selection system among the facts and things of the world.
It must never be without motivation, so as not to confuse it in the dust of disappearance.
Interest requires a rational gaze, internal focus, perimeters of future horizons.
Every interest is strictly personal.
To be handled with loving care.
To be kept with a safeguarding memory.
To be allowed to settle for collective use, at the appropriate time, in accordant ways.
Every interest adds an attention within the flow of the indistinct.
Personal interests help the world to paint itself in it’s best clothes.
